Crowd gathers as ... WOMAN, MATEY FIGHT FOR GIRL

There was high drama and laughter in Old Harbour, St Catherine last week, when a woman attacked two others, accusing one of giving her 'bun'.
A crowd gathered as the woman popped up on her apparent lover who was in the company of another female and began cursing and creating excitement. The incident reportedly occurred about 7 p.m. near the Old Harbour Fire Station.

Residents, some of whom were surprised at the drama which unfolded, were too eager to relate the controversial incident. "Yes sar, the gal dem nah romp wid di the ting. One was talking to the other when the other approached, " a taxi driver told THE STAR as he and others laughed upon recalling what transpired.
"One a di a girl come out of a car and see two women talking<span style="font-weight: bold">. She sey 'a who dis?' to one, 'yu no respect mi money, that's why yu a gi mi bun," a female resident revealed as the laughter continued.</span>
She said the woman who came out the vehicle began punching the one she accused of being unfaithful.
"She run off and run into a car and drive off," Michael Porter, another resident said. "The other one was then attacked by the aggressive woman, who continue fighting her."
The residents said the women fought for a few minutes, throwing blows and ripping off each other's clothes as persons rushed to the scene. They were eventually parted and following a few curse words went their separate ways.
Many persons told The Star, it was an uneasy reality they face to see women fighting over women and having problems normally associated with a male/female relationship.
Meanwhile the Old Harbour police said they are aware of the incident, however, no formal report was made.
