Barber with two passports remanded

A Jamaican barber who reportedly stole another man’s identity and went to England got married after he was deported, was remanded into custody when he appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court today.
It is alleged that the 29-year-old accused, Omar Walker, took out two Jamaican passports in the name Sheldon Kepple after he was deported and made several overseas trips before he got married in the same name to a British citizen.
However, he was arrested on March 13 in relation to gun matter and while in custody police found out that he was an impostor. He was subsequently charged with two counts of uttering forged documents, two counts of forgery, two counts of making a false declaration and possession of false documents.
He is scheduled to return to court on May 17.
