big Yam

This is quite a yam. Weighing 230-pounds, the tuber is one of the largest yields for farmers Everette Rodgers and Michelle Blackbourne (Inset) from their farm in Monroe, St Elizabeth to date. The reaping took place recently. (Photos: Barrington Barnes)

Neggah I thought was longer and went deeper with no secondary tubers... Vincent, like this has multiple branches..

it is too long since I did yams.. always hated it... thought yam hills was too much effort for the returns....

You have to weed the yam hill and mulch eh. This does not look like yellow yam to me. Wahalla I was waiting for your agriculture-leg woman statement.

fus u mek deh yam hill... the bigger the yam hill the big the yam.... especially for neggah mwhich goes long and deep...
