Hmmmmmm. I read this too and thought it was plausible, though I was surprised she lived so close to the twin towers that she had inhaled dust from the collapsing towers. It just goes to show the far reaching and long term consequences of certain actions. We will never know for sure.

And despite Ground Zero glowing red for THREE MONTHS - FACT - Mohammed Atta's paper passport somehow survived this, not to mention the jet's impact and initial fireball, for the FBI to find it.

and why would he even have had his passport with him ..yiou don't need a passport to fly domestic even in 2012 much less in 2001.

wonder if they will have that passport in the 9/11 museum?
