My rule of thumb is when someone tries to break into my house....it is time to leave.
Since I have been here I have been shot, shot at, held up, abducted and house and business broken into every time I have lived alone.

Don't think it relates to anything I had done in Jamaica, because in Jamaica I was more victimized in the same manner as above, than been the aggressor.
The main reason I had stayed in the USA is because I had the luxury to move and I was not a danger to my immediate family.
In Jamaica it is not so easy.

Since I have been here I have been shot, shot at, held up, abducted and house and business broken into every time I have lived alone.

The other day one guy asked my age .....I told him he said ....you are same age as us?
Yes most of the men around here are the same age ....but their mentality is about level of ten year old child (i know I insult 10 year olds....forgive I).

I have no idea where you live, but it sounds like at a minimum you need to look at a different location in that city. Of course no place is completely safe, but some areas should be avoided if you didn’t grow up there or have close relations or you may as well paint a red bulleye target on your back

But he has been targeting me for years I now realize and he kinda already knows what I might have here.

One day he invited himself into my house on the pretext that he wanted me to look at his video camera. I told it was no good but I foolishly spent the day taking it apart and putting it together again to demonstrate that the thing was <span style="font-weight: bold">unfixable</span>.

I thought that would end it but he kept coming with more stuff. Finally I just gave him a some speaker boxes. He already seen what was here since he had come in when he need his stuff checked out.
The next thing you know a ring came up missing, but I thought I had shipped it in some scrap gold by mistake.

Anyway his girl wears silver, she had a latch that was broke. I have a whole Jewelry workshop in my flat, but I don't do jobs. I just use it to melt my own metal to sell (not here I don't do business in town).

Last week he asked to weigh his bracelet and where could he sell it. The Pawnshop is across town, right around the corner from where he stays, so i thought it was odd that he was asking me where to sell silver.

Anyway the other night after the camera incident. He popped up again. His mom live over this way. I told him I was going to test drive my skate and left.
He rode off too.
I went down the street, broke down, fixed the problem and took a long loop which went directly passed his house.

When I came forward my window was half-way knocked out.
I went outside, the grass blades were depressed, but there was no tire marks.

The next morning early he called asking about a USB Jack. I gave him the same answer I always do...go to the Goodwill. He did not say anything about, either him or his GF hearing my bike past his house.

I knew right then that he was the one that tried to break in. The only thing I wanted to know was where were the bicycle tire tracks.

So later in the night. I am outside working on my skate as usual and here he comes riding up. I told him someone tried to break in my house.
Right away he yelled out...what is they watching you or something?
I said I don't know.

He volunteered that after I left he did not go home, but he went to a friend's house and they came over here because he needed to get some dishes from his mom.
He said he noticed two male persons standing near my window and one of them had a black knitted hat, like I be wearing <span style="font-style: italic">(.......he is saying this in reference to himself)</span>.
He said he thought they were just smoking a cigarette.

Trust I, It would be highly unusual for anyone to stand in my yard smoking anything, worse a cigarette.

He certainly doesn't sound like the sharpest tool in the shed.

I am undecided whether that makes him more or less dangerous. Sometimes one of the biggest mistakes you can make is expecting a rational reaction from a crazy person.
