I stayed in dwntown Toronto at the Chelsea and had to be by myself for a whole day and I was very afraid to go out and walk around by myself. I finally put on my big girl baggy and walked the 2 short blocks to the mall and was scared the whole time

</div></div>The Jamaicans living there are more complicit with not just fear, but in creating and supporting the environment that encourage not just crime but violent crime.They have been brainwashed to accept that only white, near white people and uniformed blacks should be trusted with firearms. Well where there is a deterrent crime flows to the least secured in a society. And as long as the situation remain the redult eill be tge same.

your question is too broad &amp; too general...

some egyptians &amp; libyans do consider themselves africans...i know because i have spoken to some (and many african-jamaicans don't consider themselves african either)...i would imagine the same of tunisia being they are physically in africa;

some of course don't...they may consider themselves arab or berber or such first...racially speaking;

that is understandable...but when black people do it (like somalis) it is the most ridiculous thing one can witness...
i have seen it many times...but it is no different than black dominicans or puerto ricans or cubans who say they are not &quot;black&quot;...

it is understandable that very few people want to be &quot;black&quot; due to the brainwashing of education which misled the world into believeing the african was an inferior being...

so we can conclude that national identity can be racial, religious, cultural, historical and political etc; and not necessarily just bound up in geography; e.g. Belize and Guyana are considered West Indian since they were former British colonies and have similar political history and same English language as the British West Indian islands and are a part of Caricom.
Bahamians on the other hand, dont consider themselves West Indian, even though Columbus made his first landfall here, and thought he was in the Indies, and they have the same British colony background, and all that entails; and is very similar to former British West Indian countries. Also, the Bahamas is a Caricom member .

I have 2 cousins born in Bahamas but they say they are Jamaican LOL. I was there in the womb as well but thanks to mommy i man manifested on the rock. (phew!)
