Great intuative technology.... It will lead to the discovery of more extra- solar system planets...
There is a technical limitation at detecting planets optically due to the the difusion of light.. with I beleive the limit of detection is 35 parsec from (even for hubble it is 10 par sec) the star however a planet at 100 light year the cinderella zone is at 0.5 parsecs above the plane of the star..

Indeed.
When the 'Islamic threat' dies away, the next trick will be to tell us we are being disturbed by aliens.
