Most of the furries are Ok with the storms but I have a couple that hate them. I try to put up a brave front so as not to worry them, but after being in two houses where lightning came inside and one tornado I totally hate the storms! Give me a blizzard any day! On Thursday I lost the horse shed to wind, big heavy building upside down and broken. No more horse here but I was using the shed as a potting shed. wah!

Taking the new shoes out for a run in a few, then maybe the mall likkle lata.
Wi taking a road trip in few weeks and mi need a new sun hat and bath suit.

I was up too early this morning. What kind of doctor has hours at such an ungodly hour as 9am on a Saturday?! Really!
Mr Witchy needs to find doctors who see their patients later in the day... like 2pm.
Saturday is my <span style="font-weight: bold">only</span> day to sleep in!

After that ^ we went over to <span style="font-size: 11pt"> Tops</span> for brunch.
I the Breakfast Tacos!

We picked up Mr Witchy's car from our mechanic's garage on the way home.

And he was so tired that he laid down for a nap and didn't wake up 'til half an hour ago.
A four hour nap... I am seriously worried about him. Between his stroke and his heart troubles, and now his blood clot and his phlebitis, he's just falling apart. I'm too young to be a widow yet.

Meantime, I did all of this week's laundry - leaving me a day ahead of my housework schedule this coming week. Now I have a 'free' day on Monday. I wonder what I should do? The laundry's all done. The last load - underwear and bath towels - are already soaking in hot soapy water in the washer and will soak overnight. All I need to do tomorrow is run the machine to finish the cycle, toss 'em into the dryer, fold and put it all away.
What to do on Monday, now? Hmm...

Got up early and set up luncheon at church where we hosted a Muslim group from a nearby mosque. The imam is foine and is from Somalia. We all had a great time. Plans are afoot to have joint community outreach events

good Saturday peeps!

just the usual.. the day started with my early a.m. wake up call from afar.

Mi go run and bwoy it neva did pretty out dey at all... The humidity nearly kill mi I got back in the house in one piece a daze, the way the sun did wear me out. Mi just go bade and pass out inna bed. At one point in my sun-worn, humidity-blanched stupor, mi a dream sey mi inna Mexico City and one 'ductor a bawl out &quot;Whitehall Ave! New Kingston! Fes!&quot; So mi ask him which bus a go Fes and him sey dah one dey and pointed to a blue bus. Mi still a sleep and then mi si one tall man in a white shirt a look dung pon mi... mi mek one big leap outta the bed. Not a soul. dwl! And that was my queue to get up and get some things done for the day.

The rest of the day was road runnings and getting things done. Wonderful day!
