Woman tells congregation ... "I HAD SEX WITH PASTOR"
A popular minister of religion from central Jamaica has found himself in hot water with the leadership of his denomination after a church sister confessed to his congregation that she had been in a sexual relationship with him for approximately three years.
THE STAR has learnt that the energetic minister, who is married and was seen as a role model before the incident, has now become the subject of discussion in sections of not only central Jamaica, but in almost every area he has left his spiritual mark.
According to a source close to the church, the minister who is well sought after for crusades, was involved in a relationship with a member of his flock for almost three years, but issues started to develop when they attended a crusade where he was down to preach.
It is said that while the pastor was in full flight delivering his sermon, his female companion left with another man for another premises in a neighbouring town. It is understood that when the pastor was through preaching he was unable to find the female.
THE STAR learnt that the preacher had to wait for a lengthy period until the woman returned for them to leave.
"When the woman returned and she was asked where she went, she refused to say and an argument developed between the two," the source said.
'read' her out of his church
<span style="font-weight: bold">It is alleged that the pastor decided that he would get out of the relationship with the church woman;</span> but as if that was not enough - he decided to 'read' her out of his church. However, it is said that she would have none of it.
THE STAR learnt that things took a turn for the worse some weeks ago when the pastor's sweetheart decided that she was not going to be sent out of the church just like that and decided that the pastor would have to go down with her.
"She made the entire membership of the church aware of what was taking place between the pastor and her," the source further said.
It is said that the woman confessed in front of the pastor, that the two had been having an affair, sending shockwaves throughout the congregation. Following the confession, the top brass of the denomination is planning to make a decision if the pastor is to be removed from the church.
THE STAR has also learnt that the incident has left members of the community in which the church is located very upset as persons who had put their trust in the pastor are now fuming and are now seeing him as a wolf in sheep's clothing.
