Jerry Sandusky's adopted son, Matt Sandusky, said that his father sexually abused him. Matt Sandusky released a statement through his lawyer, Andrew Shubin.

"During the trial, Matt Sandusky contacted us and requested our advice and assistance in arranging a meeting with prosecutors to disclose for the first time in this case that he is a victim of Jerry Sandusky's abuse. At Matt's request, we immediately arranged a meeting between him and the prosecutors and investigators."

The statement continued: "This has been an extremely painful experience for Matt and he has asked us to convey his request that the media respect his privacy."

The mother of three of Jerry Sandusky’s grandchildren is angry that a judge has allowed Sandusky to see his grandchildren and will have another judge decide if her kids can visit him while he is under house arrest.

Jill Thomas — the mother of three of Sandusky’s grandchildren and who is in a custody dispute with her ex-husband, Matt Sandusky — criticized Judge John M. Cleland’s ruling Monday that allowed Sandusky to see most of his grandchildren.

“I do not believe it is safe for my children, or any children, to be around Jerry Sandusky,” Thomas said in a statement.

As part of a series of rulings Monday, Cleland said the judge presiding over Thomas’ custody dispute will have to decide if her three children can visit or communicate with Sandusky. Sandusky’s other eight grandchildren can visit him with supervision at their parents’ request as the 68-year-old former Penn State assistant football coach awaits trial on child sex abuse charges.

in such a public way, but asks that his privacy be respected. the best thing for him though is probably what he's doing right now. but i do understand that he would be damaged. he was probably one of the more vulnerable.
