Trayvon Martin’s killer George Zimmerman said his controversial shooting of the unarmed teenager “was all God’s plan,” and that he had no regrets about getting out of his car to keep an eye on Martin or carrying a gun.

Zimmerman, in his first public comments about the shooting, apologized for Martin’s death, but not without throwing more fuel on the fire and further inflaming passions on one of the most tense topics in the country.

“I feel like it was all God’s plan,” Zimmerman told Fox News’ Sean Hannity in an interview that aired tonight, adding that it wasn’t his place to “second guess it or judge it.”

Hannity's interview with both Zimmerman and his attorney, Mark O’Mara, focused on the night of Martin’s death in February and Zimmerman's claims of self-defense, a case that has gripped much of the nation.

When asked what he would say to Martin's parents, Zimmerman said, &quot;I would tell them that, again, I'm sorry.&quot;

&quot;My wife and I don’t have any children,&quot; Zimmerman said in an excerpt released in advance of the airing. &quot;I have nephews that I love more than life. I love them more than myself. And I know when they were born, it was a different unique bond and love that I have with them. And I love my children even though that they aren’t born yet.

&quot;I am sorry that they buried their child. I can’t imagine what it must feel like. And I pray for them daily.&quot;

Yeah - I heard about that. If it happened I wouldn't be surprised at all but in a way, I couldn' care less about it tho. Something about the accuser seems / seemed weird - but that's another story.

I can't wrap my brain around Trayvon Martin walking home, minding his business and now is is 6 foot under.

if he is convicted of murder i don't think there is any option for a slap on the wrist sentence.manslaughter is where he might get some slack.

... is the second time I've heard Zimmerman speak at a meeting/function prior to the shooting of Trayvon Martin. There's something about him that just sounds &quot;off&quot;. I can't put my finger on it. He's weird.

To me, he also has a strange complex. Sure - this is just going by what I've read but he seems very insecure - seems to have this need, a desperate need, to impress, to belong, to rectify, to be in authority ...

I also have a funny feeling it will be a slap on the wrist as this is Florida. We do the opposite of what seems to be the right thing.

oh while he was in jail, he and his wife blew through 36,000 of the money donated to pay for phones, cars, american express bills etc

and wanted abc news to put him and his wife up in a hotel for a month (along with payment) in exchange for an interview.

mi juss realize. if his cuz was six and he was 8 was that still molestation. unwanted touching i know but i'm just wondering caz they're both children.
