Jamaica’s anti doping regime extremely strong

Local officials have refuted claims being made about Jamaica's anti-doping regime.

Since the start of the Olympics, the argument has again surfaced in some media reports that Jamaica's testing regime has been weak.

However, Jamaica Anti-Doping Commission (JADCo) Doping Control Officer, Dr Paul Wright, explains that the country has an exhaustive and perhaps gruelling testing mechanism.

<span style="font-weight: bold">He said testing is done at least 5 times per week 40 weeks a year during the season as well as the off season.</span>

<span style="font-weight: bold">According to Dr Wright unannounced testing is also done.</span>

Dr. Wright also responded to a specific charge that Jamaica has not joined the Caribbean Regional Anti-Doping Organization.

He explained that it was not seen as viable as the resources of the regional body is stretched.

He added that more testing is done in Jamaica than other islands.

They have shown him calling 2 of Jamaica's races on CTV and they interviewed him on CTV and had him call the Sidney Crosby Olympic goal from Vancouver. He is great.

I think he will as long as he does not get himself in too many car wrecks. Will he hook up with another white gal succubus as Tropi has discussed? Sounds like he wants to start a family. We will have to see I guess.

Then there is the persistent rumor about him trying out for Manchester United. Personally I think it is just a rumor.

According to my mom, he wants to 'try' long jump and if he's successful, he's going to be a contender in that event at the next olympics. And also according to my mother, he will be training for the 400m...

If all this is true, I'm wondering if he's thinking of doing it just to push himself, or to best Carl Lewis...
