Back to the original topic... The men always seem to use patois but what some term as "Kingston" patois. I remember watching Ziggy on Arsenio Hall doing an interview and it was the first time I heard him talking to the foreign press. I had heard him speak before at colts football (soccer) matches when his school (St. Georges) was playing my school...If I recall there was no heavy patois back then...

...note how clearly he speaks and sings. None of the draggy-draggy speech you hear him with today.
