Go to jail for what, trying to protect his investments in Germany's industrial complex that he made before the war? The same with Harriman and the Dulles family?

You need to explain the whole story...to only tell part of the truth is as good as telling a lie.
As they say hindsight is 20-20. No one had a crystal ball and new that WW2 was imminent.

This is central to my premis of my comment that Germany would have butched Africans.. it was that simple.. Not only German colonialism in what is now Nambia, but the military campaigns of supression thjat took place in Burundi and Tanzania in the late 19th centuary..

An examination of the early proponents of Lebumstram would find a lot of connections between the German Colonial service and the Nazi butchery...

England and America and France among other European nations were way ahead of Germany in butchering Africans by that time
