Donovon Bailey is doing just fine. He is regulary interviewed on CTV in fact, he was interviewed every night during the Olympics, called in as an expert.

He also has had a TV commercial for Grace Coconut watah on TV here in Canada...yes this year long after his sprinting career ended.

He has an Air Canada Commercial running for the longest time. He looks great. He is also building a beautiful home in Jamaica and regularly stays at Half Moon or Tryall when he goes down to oversee it. Sound like he is doing just fine to me.

I guess you're correct...<span style="font-weight: bold"> <span style="font-size: 14pt">a</span></span> single Air Canada commercial, slinging coconut water and being called every few years to give his opinion is just fine. I wonder how'd this would look had he not put himself in a position to need to usher a public apology...and through his agent if I recall properly.

Not disputing that he looks well and is in good health. He should, as I hope he would not have forgotten the very principals of his training.

Again mi talking about LONG TERM and brand. <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="font-size: 14pt">My point is that</span></span> these gentlemen have a God given talent and the opportunity to go places and do things with that same talent. They have the opportunity, once them haffi hang up the track cleats, to have a very long lasting and beneficial impact on those that come after them. Not that I am saying they must do anything for those to come (like $ and them things)...it's just a shame that these men have the opportunities to build dynasties...but have yet to master the principals of the building blocks that would allow them to do that.

Those weren't his only commercials.</span> </span>He is regularly on TV and radio as an expert, he is still asked to do endorsements decades after he stopped running. Why do you have a problem accepting that?

No he did not issue the apology through his agent. He apologized in an interview on Canadian TV and no I am not going to waste my evening searching for it. I remember it.

Also, I have stated that he is REGULARLY called in as an expert not every few years.

See what I mean about the &quot;No big ting syndrome&quot;. If some blonde white woman accomplished even half of what he has accomplished a BIG fuss would be made about it. Here you are trying to discount the accomplishments of a Black man.

He did apologize on TV not too long after the race. I could not care less if his agent also issued an apology or if his came before or after his agent's. It takes a big man to apologize. I was living in Toronto at the time and I STILL live in Toronto. I do remember.

Last month, he and physiotherapist Scott Anderson, whom he credits for keeping him healthy throughout his athletic career, launched their first rehabilitation centre called Core Fitness and Rehab in Oakville. It's the first of three they plan to open this year in the Greater Toronto area. The 8,000-square-foot facility, aimed at minor league sports players, will also house a gym called Hard Core.

He's also shopping for a location to build a training centre that will have an indoor and outdoor track field, basketball courts and soccer field for kids. He recently launched DBX Sport Management, a scouting and recruiting firm for athletes though he wouldn't name clients. </div></div>
