I watched a few minutes of those.. then noted at the side an actual film by the US goverment...

Watch till the end and the character Jerry makes a proffesy in 1962 that took 28 years but it happened...I recall watching the Berlin Wall coming down the flood across no mans land...the crossing into Austria from Slovakia

The other aspect was the hacknied use of english the use of terms proliteriat bouiswasie, capitalism..Debate by hectoring and name calling.... the expectation that we would surrender our own opnions o that of a party.. intolerance of other beleifs.. Expectations that one opnion ie our opnion is the only one that has value these are all dangers I have seen on this website...

Yeah, funny now, but serious back in the day. After Bolshevik Revolution in Russia and WW1, in 1919 dissidents were responsible for a series of anarchist bombings. Then there was the Wall Street bombing that occurred on September 16, 1920, in the Financial District of New York City. The blast killed 38 people. The bombing was never solved, but the investigators thought the bombing was carried out by Galleanists (Italian anarchists) or possibly a Communist group, both were anti-capitalist in the United States. There was a nationwide fear of communists, socialists, anarchists.
It was called the Red Scare. The beginning of J. Edgar Hoover's career.

Communism was a threat whether real or imagined.
