Black people should go out and vote en mass to get their voices heard. When there is an election, there are more positions than just for the Potus. People are voting for their local representatives, town representatives, ordinances, education etc. .

Black votes often make the difference between winning and losing and Dems take black votes for granted. That party hasn't done a whole lot for the plight of black people since the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Since then the Dems have left the trade unions out to hang, the prison industrial complex develop, and not made any inroads against instutionalized injustice.

It's about time black people started demanding some changes in return for their votes. That's not the same as staying at home, but stop giving away votes for nothing. </div></div>

but the changes that we see locally are dependent on who we put in our local offices. So by Dahjah saying not to even go to the polls is giving up on the power to make a change at the local level. How many people call their local congressman's office? How many people go to their town meetings?
