Yes . Caught Julian Castro and Lady O speech - both were very, very good. Lady O's delivery was first class. She done good.

Unlike some people in our community, I can NOT afford to be sooooooo jaded that i am willing tuh cut my own throat to spite my face.

Dis is one of di reason why Black people are taken for granted. Many ah wi have checked out of the process and have forgotten how to come together as a block. Some of us can't see past out Blackness, in other words, anything that is non-Black is automatically evil, and anything Black is totally in our corner. Sorry, I am one who tink for myself and do not subscribe to any so-called Leader. I vote base on issues, not name recognition. No permanent political friends, only permanent political interest. Some of these same Caribbean folks out there, that make the most noise, don’t even bother to go out and cast their vote on things that will impact their lives, now and in the future. They don’t even tek di time tuh understand di ramifications, of their inactions. Some ah wi make ah lotta noise an noh follow it up wid positive actions.

How foolish is that?

Mi tek voting very serious, too many people died fi it. Yes, mi know is ah cliche. One clueless ooman pan dis board, actually told mi, "noh badda com wid dat foolishness inna har ears".

Now mi ah step dung offa mi soap-box.
