US Ambassador to Libya killed...

TRIPOLI, Libya -- Libyan officials say the U.S. ambassador and three other Americans have been killed in an attack on the U.S. consulate in the eastern city of Benghazi by protesters angry over a film that ridiculed Islam's Prophet Muhammad.

The officials say Ambassador Chris Stevens was killed Tuesday night when he and a group of embassy employees went to the consulate to try to evacuate staff. The protesters were firing gunshots and rocket propelled grenades.

All of the officials -- three in all -- hold senior security positions in Benghazi.
They are deputy interior minister for eastern Libya Wanis al-Sharaf; Benghazi security chief Abdel-Basit Haroun; and Benghazi city council and security official Ahmed Bousinia.

In a series of disjointed scenes, the film depicts Prophet Mohammed as a child molester, womanizer and ruthless killer.

<span style="font-weight: bold">The movie was made by Sam Bacile, an Israeli-American real-estate developer, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Bacile -- who wrote, directed and produced the film -- said he wanted to showcase his view of Islam as a hateful religion, the Journal reported, citing a telephone interview with him.</span>

Bacile, 52, told the newspaper that to make the film, he had raised $5 million from about 100 Jewish donors, who he declined to identify. He said he made the two-hour movie over a three-month period last year in California, using about 60 actors and 45 crew members, the Journal reported.

I have a muslim co-worker that treats his wife more like property than a loving partner while in public. So I would have to say yes to your question.

Exactly to the point of my post where I said I realize Christianity is also a religion of intolerance and hate. i just get upset when i see muslims interviews and they state that islam is a religion of peace and love. That is a bold face lie!
