The board has been down a lot lately. I've been getting timeout issues the last few weeks. I did not know there were a lot of other jamaica forums. Star forum/gleaner/ackee forum appeared to have dropped out or are barely there. FB may have something to do with it. I don't use it though I have an alias account on there I used to &quot;chec&quot; things when I need to. Still I would think jam.com is more specific for people who want to talk about local ja issues. Maybe people are just tiring of forums and I was reading this week that they may be tiring of FB too.

funny ting but juss dis week it occurred to me dat i don't come cross yah much....i spend time pon FB in a yaad political site dat is fabulous...<span style="font-weight: bold">people can discuss, chat n trow wud in the time honoured yaad way</span> n u no haffi look out fi any foreigner who try to fit in but no really understand our manner of discussing/arguing/cussing..n no Jcan fren of farrina who haffi decide who dem fi side wid....wat can i say....i am home wid REAL Jamaicans.....

i don't think this site is dead...i think the game of Big Brothers or Big Sisters played out...the winning clique still is present...couple women, one man, SB n di odda one forum dem play togedda wen di SB get boring.... n di beauty is dat since dem is all moderators n di odda ting, dem no have no bad behaviour to oversee so dem no really haffi show up fi wuk more dan so....

The mandate handed down tuh unno to govern a certain way has made ppl flee.
Dis used to be one the most vibrant places, and if it was nice lik b4 fassbook could nevah hold a candle tuh dis place. Maybe is de farrin mind mi nuh kno, but wah evan seh nuh wrang at all.

Let's look pan F&amp;R as an example. You had to have conviction in ur tings fi guh dung deh.
Nuff ppl nevah guh dung deh because of the heated discussions. I guess X-man an dem did a try dem bess fi mek it more fi everybody. ppl's poas got erased ar smaddy lass it.
Moderation keep getting chane out becah smaddy neh lass enuff poas weh neh stick to a pro christian agenda. Ppl were reasioning pan tings an certain policies sheg it up an run de ppl weh.

Why yuh tink eva can seh shi deh inna one forum weh ppl cyan tawk de ting dem an nuh haffee deal wid ppl who get upset becah a de way wi express wiself.

Look how lang Blu bring up Mzungu and it wasn't till lass year weh ppl agree it is a non offensive word. Dat one ting cause so much disruption roun here and it was de farrin mind an madarayshun weh did a push it.

It seems to me that every year at the end of Summer we have this kind of discussion.
That's all good .

But this nonsense about cliques and moderators and control and foreigners is, at best, immature, and, at worst, just hateful.
