Monica Lewinsky, 39, is reportedly shopping a tell-all book about her affair with Bill Clinton, which will include intimate love letters to the former president. Lewinsky is reportedly seeking a $12 million book deal.
In the wake of former President Clinton's well-received speech at the Democratic National Convention, Lewinsky's name has resurfaced in the news, as commentators recalled the scandal that nearly cost him the presidency.

Lewinsky was a White House intern in the mid-90s when she had an affair with Clinton. Republican inquiries into the president's affair (because no other politician ever had one) became the basis for the Republican’s attempt to have President Clinton impeached in 1998.
Page Six reported that Lewinsky is "making the rounds" of major publishers, who were required to sign non-disclosure agreements in advance of a meeting. And despite that non-disclosure agreement, tongues are wagging about the book’s content, specifically regarding intimate loves letters.
The book would be Lewinsky's first with her name on the cover as author. Biographer Andrew Morton wrote “Monica's Story” in 1998 with Lewinsky's cooperation but she wasn't an official co-author. Lewinsky has kept a low profile over the past eight years. But at 39-years-old, with several bombed entrepreneurial attempts, $12 million must be looking pretty good.
