I don't think so - she had a vice grip and had dug her heels in long long before the death of her son.

Actually, I wasn't referring to the actual custody battle. Just the push-pull of the overall divorce. When things like that happen, most people soften and say lets just do something to finish this. According to the news people, that was Usher's approach, but it seems like she wouldn't let anything go. (again, that's how the news portrayed her)

I agree with you fully.

I watched her whole interview on ET this week. Doesn't seem the brightest bulb in the drawer. She didn't say ANYTHING at all that made her look good.

I never said I was taking up for him and his behavior. His ex-wife said she feels sorry for her friend...bout how she fell into a trap. Dat a foolishness. Yuh fren and yuh husband betray you. Both of them equally responsible for their actions.

Second, I said when her son died, I would think, rather than continue the knock-down, drag-out fight in court, she would have said, 'let's stop this fighting and figure something out'.

She got dogged out, she is not the first, and will not be the last. She can sit and be bitter, or move on with her life.
