Newly disclosed documents have revealed details on how the U.S. military carried out testing of chemicals on major U.S. cities during the 1950s and 1960s. Sociologist Lisa Martino-Taylor of St. Louis Community College says zinc cadmium sulfide was sprayed in several cities without residents’ knowledge. The most densely sprayed area appears to have been a housing complex for low-income people in St. Louis.

Lisa Martino-Taylor: &quot;It was pretty shocking, the level of duplicity and secrecy. Clearly they went to great lengths to deceive people. There’s a lot of evidence that indicates that people in St. Louis in the city, particularly in minority communities, were subjected to military tests that was connected to a larger radiological weapons development and testing project.&quot;

Like I said, I'm not saying it's not true but I think we need to wait nd see how this story develops. </div></div>Maybe you don't realize thst in the US community colleges have available all the facilities and acces to the same libraries available to the best ivy league colleges in the country.
Community college students have a cess ti all public and state university libraries. It is just a matter i of the course requirements.
And in my neighborhood many of the professors at the most outstanding community colleges are actually on staff at the best colleges around here. It is just a matter of giving back ti their communities.

WASHINGTON – Responding to a new study of a previously reported issue, Missouri’s U.S. senators asked the Army on Thursday to provide details of the potential health impact of – and the possibility of a radioactive component to – Cold War-era particle-dispersal experiments in St. Louis.

In separate statements, U.S. Sens. Claire McCaskill, D-Mo., and Roy Blunt, R-Mo., expressed concern about news reports – based on a Ph.D. dissertation discussed at a forum this week by sociologist Lisa Martino-Taylor – that the Army’s studies of the aerosol dispersal of fluorescent particles of zinc cadmium sulfide in St. Louis in the 1950s and '60s may have violated ethics rules and could have had unintended health effects.

The Army dispersal experiments, first revealed – and widely reported by publications – in the 1990s, had led former U.S. Rep. Richard A. Gephardt, D-St. Louis, and other lawmakers to press for a study by the National Research Council. In 1997, the NRC found that exposure to the Army-reported levels of zinc cadmium (part of the compound that was sprayed) would not have been expected to cause lung ailments.

The report recommended follow-up research, mainly to determine whether the chemical compound might possibly break down into toxic components that could have been absorbed in the bodies of people who were exposed. But it is unclear whether those studies were done. On Thursday, McCaskill asked Army Secretary John McHugh to explain whether this follow-up research was conducted and what the results revealed.

This does not surprise me. Did you see the declassified information about Jim Jones being a CIA agent and the Government releasing low income residents into his custody. Apparently there were mind control experiments going on in Jones Town. The notification that everyone was dead in Jones Town was sent from the CIA office.
