I won't re-hash my views on the imbalance in the dating playing field for Black men vs Black women. However, to hook up with a woman who poses naked and models skimpy clothing does seem to fly in the face of Rastafarian values. Rohan and Damian have both done that. So did Bob for that matter (skimpy clothing). Remember Cindi was Miss Jamaica Body Beautiful and Miss Universe Bikini.

It seems you are placing Christian value about the naked body on Rasta, most Rasta do not shared those value....Sex or the naked body is not something to be ashamed of or sinful in anyway.

It is often a personal choice who a man or woman marries in the west, in the east that decision is often made by the parents. So unless we knows what motivates we can only guess at how or why he or she made that choice

Rasta is not here to live up to anyone expectations but to be true to himself.
If a Rasta love a white woman he must not marry her because????? she is white and he is black???? That is putting color before consciousness.

I watched the TV interveiw... and the confusion with doctrinal nuance, there must have been similar diference at the birth of Christianity....It is interesting and a reflection that at the end of the interveiw both presents gave what I beleive was a show of respect to Rasta...with their chant of Rastafari....I guess that is how rasta is seen with an acknowledgement that Rasta is now embedded as part of how Jamaica is seen internationally...

In the early 70's as is oft forgotten there were debates and reasoning on wheter Bob was a true rasta.. The identical thing happened when third world came to prominence....

The early history of rasta is not clear... I watched that film it did not really reveal or add to the knowage....and again my old man told me there were locks men in the 30's...He mentioned that they wereindian...
