What could have possibly gone wrong in such a short period of time?

The cracks started to appear only a month after their reality show concluded. Holm's brother, Mike, told Us magazine the couple fought during a South Carolina vacation in August after Jef discovered that Maynard had allegedly exchanged saucy texts and photos with Matt Leinhart, quarterback for the Oakland Raiders.

&quot;I was there and I heard the fight and watched the whole thing go down, Emily leaving and everything,&quot; Mike said. &quot;I love my brother very much and, like the rest of our family, I just want him to be happy.&quot;

Both Jef and his 26-year-old fiancée, who was previously engaged to &quot;Bachelor&quot; star Brad Womack, vehemently denied that any cheating had taken place. Jef blasted his brother's &quot;history&quot; with his family and Maynard called the story, &quot;one hundred per cent not true.&quot;

But a month later, Jef's ex, Kaylee Shepherd, told Us that he had told her the story was, in fact, &quot;100 per cent accurate.&quot;

&quot;Jef said their relationship isn't what it seems,&quot; she said.

The 28-year-old entrepreneur reportedly got his own back on Oct. 4, allegedly flirting with a woman at a charity event in Laguna Beach.

&quot;What comes easy wont last. What lasts won't come easy,&quot; Jef tweeted the next day.

Two days later, he was spotted on a shopping excursion in North Carolina with Maynard and her daughter Ricki, 7.

However, earlier this week, it seemed the pair were preparing for the official announcement of the end of their relationship.

&quot;Keep on the bright side,&quot; Maynard tweeted on Monday.

Meanwhile, Holm opted for a spiritual quote: &quot;#God has a way to heal your sorrow. God has a way to touch your tomorrow. Trust him.&quot;</div></div>

I never liked her and neither did any of the other women. From they went skinny dipping on national TV when they barely knew each other, I knew they were both trash and it would not last.

He went on the show to promote his winery. She went on to boost her modelling career.
