this really makes me laff.Originally posted by lonewolf View PostWhy do you post here on this topic? You are a Canadian that is sticking your nose where it does not belong. The fact is you can't vote for or against Obama or Romney, but I can. At least I have a vested interest, and I can vote because I'm an actual CITIZEN of the USA. Is your only interest in the US presidential election because Obama is black?

Well, I'm glad I could give you a chuckle, but the fact is you are another outsider looking in.
What makes me laugh or cry...is that we only have a choice between DUMB(Obama) or DUMBER (Romney).
What is funny, believe it or not, is that on my Official Specimen Ballot (sent by mail before election) that Santa Claus is listed 5th in order as a write in candidate for President, really, I would not lie.
As I said before, funny or not, the truth will set you free...find anything that I posted that is not the truth, Rich..Canadian resident?

No, I'm not telling black people to shut up. I'm just asking black people that are not US citizens (such as yourself) what their interest is in the US presidential elections, and why they are so opinionated on this subject, it's really none of your business. Neither one of these idiots that are elected will directly affect your life, but it will affect the life of a US CITIZEN. And if the reason they have such a interest in the US election is because a black man is an incumbent?Originally posted by Blackstar* View PostWhile telling black people to shut up about the election! No irony there.
Why is this quetsion so difficult for you and others to answer? Is it because what I say is true?

actually because the us is the most powerful country and the role it plays in the world, who is elected will directly affect our lives.Originally posted by lonewolf View PostNo, I'm not telling black people to shut up. In many case it will affect outsiders more profoundly that it affects people living in the US.
As the poeple of Iran if they have an interest in who wins the US election. When its hot in the jungle of peace I go swimming in the ocean of love.....

Because you don't have to be a Jamaican to be a member of Jamaicans.com. Maybe you should study the rules as a moderator? And, I've probably spent more money on vacations in Jamaica, than you have in the US. So, at least I provide some money to the Jamaican economy by my tourists dollars. Somewhere around $60,000 US dollars in the last 20 years?
How much money have you spent on vacations in Jamaica or the US in the last 20 years?

That's total nonsense, and what affects the people of Iran is THEIR ELECTED IDIOT,and NOT OUR ELECTED IDIOT.Originally posted by RichD View Postactually because the us is the most powerful country and the role it plays in the world, who is elected will directly affect our lives.

do you know anything about the habits of Canadians who live close to the US border and cross border shopping? 60K in 20 years?
lets see ..i have probably been to the US over 200 times in the last 20 years...60,000/200 = 300 per trip. not very hard to meet that threshold.

Nor would I want to be a citizen of that hell hole..I have to hold my nose when I am flying over it to get to Jamaica.......Originally posted by lonewolf View PostWhy do you post here on this topic? Be honest...
The whole world has a vested interest in who the president is...Do you have any idea how different the world would be and how may hundreds of thousand of people would be alive today if Al Gore had won the 2000 election?
Not to mention the 200 Canadians who have died so far in Afganistan in a war that we have no vested interest in...Give your head a shake bubba

Snow White, Pinocchio, and Superman are out for a stroll in town one day. As they walk, they come across a sign: Beauty contest for the most beautiful woman in the world." I am entering" said Snow White. After half an hour she comes out and they ask her, "Well, how'd ya do? " First Place ," said Snow White.
They continue walking and they see a sign: "Contest for the strongest man in the world." "I'm entering," says Superman. After half an hour he returns and they ask him, "How did you make out?" First Place ," answers Superman. "Did you ever doubt?"
They continue walking when they see a sign: "Contest! Who is the greatest liar in the world?" Pinocchio enters. After half an hour he returns with tears in his eyes. "What happened?" they asked.
"Who the hell is MITT ROMNEY?" asked Pinocchio.
