Watching the news and SMH...why is Florida always the embarrassment in elections. They now estimate the counting will not be completed until tomorrow. We are the laughing stock of the nation and the world. I hate seeing my state on the news on all the networks showing them counting ballots. This is just ridiculous. They need more workers and machines. Think of the "hit" we are taking. Move workers from another precinct to help out with the counting. Do something to avoid this national embarrassment.

I feel your pain. on the news they were saying that even with Sandy up here, we did better than florida
and we had some challenges:
polling stations consolidated/moved (some stations damaged or turned into shelters)
new electronic machines since 2010 (but couple of them still bruk dung and some people not familiar with them)
election workers displaced and showed up late
all of this led to long lines but people were determined to vote

My dad and I were talking about this earlier. I really don't understand what the problem is.
I'm going to nyam some corn and just listen.
It'll be better for me if it makes some sense but ok that's not a need. I'll take a little or a lot. What? How can there always be a delay in Florida?

A bit of a tangent but goes to show how off the mark the governor is.
Scott: I won't carry out parts of health-care law
5:24 p.m. EST, November 7, 2012
Florida Gov. Rick Scott says he still won't implement parts of President Barack Obama's health care overhaul despite the re-election of the president. Scott on Wednesday continued to say that the overhaul would be too expensive and would harm businesses by raising their costs.
The U.S. Supreme Court earlier this year upheld the law, but said states could decide whether or not to expand Medicaid programs to help lower the number of uninsured residents. Scott at the time said he would oppose the Medicaid expansion. He also said the state would not set up a state-run health exchange, a marketplace where people who need insurance policies could shop for them.

I wish he would jump off a bridge.
Scott made his money in healthcare and is not at all subtle about creating initiatives that give state money to his healthcare friends.
One of the amendments on the Florida ballot was to override Obamacare. It didn't pass.7/5th of all people do not understand fractions.

Couldn't here. Not sure about there, but depending on the state, long as she isn't behind in restitution payments and applied to be let back through then yeah vote back on. (It goes without saying no parole violations or what not applies.)
