Scott made his money in healthcare and is not at all subtle about creating initiatives that give state money to his healthcare friends.

One of the amendments on the Florida ballot was to override Obamacare. It didn't pass.

That's a next thing I never quite understood. Why do some people have a problem with Obamacare? It's not mandatory like taxes. It seems to just offer a more affordable option to peeps who don't already have health insurance. It went through so many versions that I don't even know if it maintained the option for someone with a pre-existing condition to be insured, but how can folks be mad about that?

Even just taking the cheesy route to make a point by quoting a line from a friggin movie, John Q - Sick? Help. Sick? Help.

Could we actually be so trifling that the only real objection is pockets might not get lined right for aiding the ill? Even as a base excuse for some bs, that should conflict with the hippocratic oath or something at least.

Gov. Scott's company ripped the state of with Medicare/Medicaid overcharges when he was CEO. He claimed he knew nothing about it. You should have seen the interview with him last night where he kept shipping his eyes. He looks like Fire Marshall Bill from the show "In Living color".
