...its complex brand of democracy? In another thread I commented that onoo system with primaries, electoral college, different terms and elections for everything for fire chief to dog catcher is really complex and difficult to understand.


America has fought many wars defending freedom and democracy. It this the complex brand of democracy that America is trying to export? Seems much to complicated to me.

Craazy system....I don't think it's very democratic.......I believe in some states the electors can go against the wish of the people and give the other guy his electorial college votes or whatever it's called

In all states they can do that. Don't know if it has every happened.
