| Rasbert Turner, Star Writer The Portmore police in St Catherine are searching for a man who stabbed a prostitute repeatedly after a business deal between them went sour. Police reports are that about 4 a.m. yesterday, the man went to the Port Henderson Road more popularly known as 'Back Road', in Portmore, St Catherine. After having a few drinks, he reportedly struck a deal with a prostitute and both went to have sex in a room. It was reported that the man allegedly finished earlier than he desired, and as a result, demanded a refund of $1,000 from the woman. She refused to refund the money while pointing out that she had no control on how long each client could keep up with her ''business''. The man reportedly became enraged, after the woman remained adamant that she would not give him a refund. It was then that the man brandished a knife which he used to stab her twice in the neck and chest. A report was made to the police and the injured woman was taken to the hospital where she was admitted in a very serious condition.Investigators said the man is still at large and all efforts are being made to apprehend him to answer to a charge of wounding. |
