Tourism Ja earns US$1.3 bil from January to July

The Planning Institute of Jamaica (PIOJ) is reporting that the country earned US $1.3 billion in foreign exchange from visitors to Jamaica between January and July this year
This represents a 3.6 per cent increase over the corresponding period last year.
Provisional visitor expenditure available for July showed a seven per cent increase over the corresponding period in 2011.
It resulted in Jamaica earning US 225 million.
