Very interesting. They go to Bob Marley's house in Trench Town. Sad that area of town has not improved after all this time.

The video has some inaccuracies but interesting nonetheless.

I didn't realize Kiddus I and Alton Ellis were from that part of town.

They talk about Backto. It's the second time we've heard about it this year. My Mom used to teach children from that area.

It's a shame the theatres have been allowed to deteriorate like that.

It is a shame how the infrastructure and the old theatres have been allowed to deteriorate. The decline in theatre attendance is global but I know in Canada some of the theatres have been converted into churches, event venues and lofts. Theatres are important cultural icons and I can't believe they were left to crumble.

Anway Earl "Chinna" Smith and Kiddus I did a fabulous job touring some of the places where reggae was created and performed.

I've seen Chinna twice when he played back up and met Kiddus I once YEARS ago. Visited a friend of a friend in Toronto and he was there.

I didn't realize that they have occasionally done shows together in Toronto. I guess to know what's going on I have to start following some of the European sites like http://ww.makasound.com
