I was at a Bible study I attend bi-weekly. We were discussing a number of issues when race came up. This blonde blurted out "No offence but I would never go out with a Black man". Figured it was not the time or place to . Also in view of sensitivity I game her some space. She has recovered from cancer, is having a heck of a time with her WHITE ex-husband and her 14 year old son is so unruly she recently had to put him out. The Bible study is at her home.

What would you have said or done?

i wouldn't have said anything, but i would have prayed for her cancer to come back or for the unruly kid to kill her. but i'm evil that way.

• if shi go to bible study class shi likely to have guilt associated with sex (low desirability)
• if shi want to have sex she should be at a place where there are men who want to have sex..ie anywhere but a bible study class...(however it is well known that bible study full ah freak....) low desirability
• Shi have issue wid ex husband,
• shi ha issue wid cancer, high chance of recularnce (lower desirability, u never know if them can find a freak cell that jumps across during bodily contact and sets off a chain reaction of cancer....No one ever prove this is not a possibility....)

The church has small group Bible studies meeting in homes all over the area throughout the week. There is no way the church would have space for all of them.

I think there is "preference" and there is "racism". If someone says they would not go out with a person of another race is it always racist? If a woman says she would never go out with someone shorter than herself it would be considered a "preference".

This "blonde" may be an ignorant racist but until we have all the facts we don't know. People of a certain look just do not do it for others. They have nothing against that group but they are just not sexually attracted to them, they would "prefer" someone of a different look.

Yes they are prejudging every Black person on the face of the earth before they even meet them prejudice is formed from the root words pre and judge. If some pre-judges on the basis of race, it is racial prejudice.

Preference. There are men and women of all heights in all races so one is not ruling out any one race.
