After visiting the La Fortuna Waterfall (a must see!), the three of us (3 girls in our twenties) took showers one after the other. The first one heard noises but didn't see anything. The second heard noises again during her shower, and at the end of her shower turned and saw a man's face looking into our shower window. He ran away once she turned and saw him. The last girl went in to shower and just before she got in she saw the man had returned and was watching her.

We called reception immediately and we were horrified by the help we received. Erica, the receptionist, sent security to our room but no one was taking any responsibility for what had happened. We were told that they did "everything they were supposed to" by sending security, but it should have never happened in the first place. They were dismissive of how violated we felt and told us the window probably wasn't see through and that switching our room should have fixed everything. The guy behind the desk told us that this was not the first time it had happened. We felt really uncomfortable and switched hotels..

5:30 am day two of our trip we were awakened to find what appears to have been a hotel employee peeping into the main windows of our casita. He was both sneaky and blatant in his attempt to peek into our
room, and ran off immediately as we saw him and verbally challenged him. This is a remote hotel, there was no one from the hotel available
including security at that time of the morning (I both phoned the main line and went up to the main lodge), and had the motive been robbery, rape, or other we don't know. We were shocked, angry, and very upset to have our privacy invaded so deeply.

My last day in the resort which was on the saturday, I HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE IN REDANG BEACH RESORT. I was having my shower, and when i was about to finish my shower, i realized that there was someone using a handphone to record my bathing session by sticking out his hand on top of the opening of the bathroom! I cant believe wat i saw!i I shouted and the peeping tom was gone! There is a serious lack of security since there was only one security for the whole resort, plus there is no phone in the chalet as well! How can this be??????? When i complained to the staff on duty, what he replied was this was something that they cant do to protect, they had what they have!~ They dont even care to investigate and their attitude was like they got used to the peepinig tom peoblem already!!!! This is such a disgrace for a resort!!! GIRLS, PLEASE THINK TWICE IF U WANNA LIVE IN THIS RESORT !

“Disgusting Peeping Tom!”

1st time I went in I popped to the loo,pushed button for the light did what I needed and stood up,happened to glance up and noticed a small hole,when I stared up to have a good look something was moved over the hole,absolutely freaked out I practically ran out to tell my friend,went back in with her,went in same toilet and had another look up and could see up into what looked like a room above,to think that people are unaware that there being spied on is disgusting,especially as kids go in as well!if the management know then they should be ashamed,if not then there staff are disgusting perverts!

“Peeping Tom male house keeper!!!”



This place is nuts, so nuts that I thought that I was getting punked. I booked a room here for two nights, checking in at 11:00 pm. The following morning, my girl friend and I were lying in bed (naked as jaybirds) when all of a sudden the door flew open to see a creepy looking guy staring at us in the nude!!! I covered my girl friend and myself up right away, as this creep began to apologize for the unexpected intrusion. He shut the door after about 30 long seconds and left. I was EDIT!!!

Right away I went to the front desk to complain about the deal. The front desk lady was shocked, and said that guy was a house keeper who should have knocked first (duh). So I told her that I wanted to speak with the manager and she directed me to Three guys, one who was the creep that walked in the room. As I was telling the Manager what happened, the creep that walked in interuppted by saying he thought our room was the storage room??? Yeah you work here, and don't know where the storage room is....right buddy. So the manager just looked at me and uttered something in a different language to the creep, and just walked away!!! So I began to see what kind of deal this was going to be, and went back to the front desk to talk to the nice young lady, and asked her for the coorporate number which she gave me.

She then went on to that the manager was actually the owner, and he also owned a strip club right next door!!! This is not over, it gets worse.

I then left to go get breakfast for me and my girl, and as I was getting in my truck, that creepy guy was just staring at me leave. I got to a truck stop across the street that serves a good breakfast, and as I was ordering, my phone rang. It was my girl, who was very upset, and saying that the same guy walked in on her as she was flat ironing her hair in the mirror!!! I could not believe what I was hearing. I hurried back as soon as I could, just to find out that this same guy had come back yet another time before I could get back to the room!!! Yes a total of three times this creep walked into our room.

His excuse the second time was that he thought we checked out...huh??? He watched me leave alone in my truck, knowing that my girl was still there at the room. His excuse for the third time was we needed to pay for the room...huh??? We paid two nights on a credit card on line. He also called her twice to ask if she needed towels, and were we going to pay for the room. All of this within one hour. I had enough, so me and my girl went to the front desk, when one of the three guys walked in while we were talking to the front desk lady, and started calling my girl a liar...wow!! He claimed that he was the one who walked in on us the first time, and that the other inncidents never took place. I asked for my refund for that day, which the front desk lady .....did give me. I feel sorry for her being a woman, and having to work for such creepy people. I filed a complaint with the customer relations department....... a couple of days a go, and when I get the results, I will post them. Stay away from this freaky place where they are rude as hell, and act like they don't speak English when you have a problem with there crazy hotel and perverted ways.
