I know you guys are more conspiracy specialists (except Wahalla) than end of world advocates. But someone close to me sent this and i wanted to hear your opinions.
Others are welcome to share thoughts as well just called the guys names to pull their attention here...
Brethren and Friends,
Here is some interesting information.
Jorge Mario Bergoglio is from Argentina and he took the name "Francis" when he became Pope. The Catholic prophet Malachy predicted 900 years ago that the last Pope would be "Peter the Roman." It seems like Malachy's prophecy was wrong, though it had been uncannily accurate in the case of the 112 Popes who preceded Francis.
Malachy lived 900 years ago and predicted that there would be 112 Popes from his time to the end of the world. He wrote a single sentence about each of these Popes stating some characteristic of each one.
For example, it was said of John Paul I, "from the midst of the moon." He was born in a diocese named "Bel Luna, which means, "Beautiful Moon."
Of John Paul the second it was said, "from the labour of the sun." He was born during an eclipse and he was buried during an eclipse.
Of Pope Benedict it was said, "the glory of the olive." When he became Pope, he took the name Benedict. Benedict was the founder of the Benedictine order which has an olive as its symbol.
The present Pope, according to Malachy, is "Petrus Romanus," which means, "Peter the Roman." This Pope's name is not Peter, neither is he from Rome. However, when we look at the ways in which the connections are made between the former Popes and the lines written about them we see that they are indirect, it seems logical that the connection between this one and Petrus Romanus would also be indirect.
Interestingly we find that the parents of this Pope are actually Italians who moved to Argentina, so he is really a Roman by descent. Furthermore, he took the name Francis in honour of St. Francis of Assissi. Francis of Assissi's full name was Francesco di Pietro (Peter, Petrus) di Bernardone. Thus, Pope Francis, fulfills the specifications of "Petrus Romanus," as prophesied by Malachy.
The interesting thing is that Petrus Romanus was to be the final Pope. According to Malachy, in his days the "seven hill city will be destroyed, then will come the "terrible judge," then the end. One wonders how much stock we can put in a prophecy made by a Catholic priest, but the fulfillment so far has been startling. The other predictions yet to come are right in line with what we have been expecting for many years, the destruction of Babylon and a time of great terror for the world, just before Jesus returns.
In any event, everything else is in agreement in saying to us, "THE END IS AT HAND! IT IS TIME TO AWAKEN!"
