I suggest that when ever a person non resident in Jamaica claims they are Jamaican the government should levy a charge on them for use of the brand... unless they pay money up front... Kind of franchise Jamaicaness....u should only get free usage if u demonstrate ..
1 u pay tax in Jamaica
2 u transfer to Jamaica over 10 K US a year...to family or investment or savings.......not via a charity....

it is called monitising the brand...

So next time u see some one claim Jamaican ness brand challenge them they are using our intellectual property without payment!
