Patty's mother was an alcoholic...that is why she couldn't raise Patty. She died 19 years ago due to complications related to her drinking. Patty really resembles her birth mother. The investigator was able to get Patty's mother's ring for her from her boyfriend. Patty cried but said she feels this brings some closure and opens the path for her to find love. -
