Since announcing that he is the first openly gay athlete in professional sports, Jason Collins has been commended by many, including President Obama. But while Collins deserves to be recognized for his decision to speak out on his lifestyle, should he be held accountable for the years he chose to lie to women he developed relationships with?According to TMZ, Collins was once engaged to former WNBA player Carolyn Moos. For eight years, the two appeared to have a loving relationship. But Collins never told Moos that he was living a gay lifestyle. She only found out days before the article was published in Sports Illustrated.
“It’s very emotional for me as a woman to have invested eight years in my dream to have a husband, soul mate, and best friend in him,” Moos said. “So this is all hard to understand.”
Collins made up several excuses on why he didn’t want to get married and eventually called the wedding off. Moos went on to say she cares about Jason and hopes that he is happy.
However, Collins’ choice to live on the “down-low” for all those years was extremely selfish and unfair to Moos.

I have seen white women with black men who are obviously gay. When it was said that the women he dated were never told that he was gay, it did not shock me when the chick turned out to be white. It is foul that he only told her prior to his article of him coming out. When he glossed over the fact that had been engaged to a woman, I assumed that maybe it was a brief hetero relationship when he was younger and still trying to figure things out and it ended because he admitted he was gay. When I found that she invested 8 years in the relationship and he ended the engagement without telling her the truth, it changed my perception of him completely. And when he called to tell her he was gay, he did not apologize for his deception. It's as if men get a pass for decieving the women they were involved with when they come out as gay.

Now this is the reason men are to let the correct head prevail when selecting partners. So many a dem pick trashy women who sing like a canary to the press when dolly house mash up. A classy lady would never do that.

The Jason Collins story got tons of press all around the world after he came out as a homosexual while still an active player and apart from him making many media appearances, his ex-fiancée is set to cash in as well.
According to Salon.com, Moos, who was previously engaged to Collins, will be writing a memoir about her life and also her time with Collins. Collins revealed that he was gay to her days before going public with the story and after speaking to TMZ, CNN and other networks, she decided to go the book route. The former WNBA star is a personal trainer and now on her website it says that she will cash on Collins' story.

The report says that she will look back on what she has lived through with Collins and she also asks people to send questions they would like to have answered about Collins and their relationship.
"Carolyn will be writing a book as she reflects on her recent life events about her former fiancé. She welcomes submitted questions from the public about what they would like to hear more on given topics that were discuss at the surface level in the interviews.

She even publicize her email address so that people can write her and ax ar bout all de 'orny details so she can include dem in book. Now dat is a trashy gyal.
