Chairman of the Bureau of Standards Jamaica, Professor Winston Davidson, says five additional brands of toilet paper have been pulled from shelves after being found with unacceptable levels of bacteria.
This follows the Bureau's decision to pull four other brands from shelves in early March, after they failed microbiological tests. Davidson said the five additional brands were identified during ongoing tests.
However, the names of the contaminated brands will not be divulged.
