Beverley Hills, Jamaica - House Shaped Like Circle

Not sure why I woke up thinking about this. Maybe I was dreaming about it. Please help me remember.

Which farmous Jamaican musician owned the house shaped like a circle at the top of Beverley Hills? I can't even find a photo of the house on line but a few years after that I took a tour mini-bus from Ochi to Kingston and the driver or guide mentioned it.

I remember one day standing below it. I was with a couple of friends. We were talking to Orlando Wong (Oku Nagba Ozala Onuora), the only time in my life I met Orlando Wong. All of a sudden, there were helicopters, police and whole heap of excitement up deh.

Funny how memories come back.

He used to live on the hill, not sure bout the house he lived in.

It wasn't him...it was some guy from the ska or maybe rock steady era or maybe a producer.

Yes a crown.....I thought that was it but I wasn't sure so I said circle.

I'm sure it was Prince Buster who lived in the cup and saucer house... not sure if that's the same house you're thinking of.

circular homes more in line with ancient African custom than nowadays square homes

the house was shaped like a crown. back in the 80s it was abandoned only goats were living in it.

Man I wish I can remember when the helicopters etc. were circling the house. I wonder if it had been captured by gunmen. Just using Google, it would have had to be after 1 September 1977 when Orlando Wong was released from jail so I am guessing early to mid 1980s.

When was it abandoned and why? Is it still abandoned?
