Nenshi has done an AWESOME job during this state of emergency (and before)
I don't this he has slept since Thursday. He is very active on twitter/social media and he is very inspiring to us Calgarians during this time of crisis.
Proud to have him as our mayor and surprisingly also fortunate that Stephen Harper and Alison Redford the premier are both from Calgary so as far as provincial and federal funds are confirmed we well setComment

Funny/interesting thing is the disconnect that so many people have from this disaster (mi talking local people)
I found out this morning that my workplace is closed monday and tuesday so I texted my group of co-workers. all that live in the north high above the flood zone texted back asking why????Comment

Before I head into my next briefing, I wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who turned up at McMahon Stadium this morning. We asked for 600 and thousands turned up. We know that many more are out helping their friends and neighbors clean up the damage the flood has left behind.
