just saw it...yes they did seem to focus a lot on marijuana which is unfortunate---but overall I have to say it was a great film...personal bias notwithstanding (couple of my bredrin in the film)...no no need to charge Snoop...i'm sure he did not bring in quantities to sell...and the creator's herbs are for the fullness of the earth thereof...Rastafari!

i thought that Snoop was a narcissist, self centered yanki... obsessed with smoking weed... his singing was bland and his songs irrirating....the rasses portrayal was as if they were hairy hippies who were equally obssesed with weed smoking.. and one materialist....

the only incisive comment was made by Bunny Wailers manager.. She highlight the conflict between culture and commercialism...

Actually i have to give Farrahkhan props... He has got to be one of the few elders who dismissed the rappers. He seemed to have had an attitude that no one is irredeemable..But his characterisation of their product as "foul" was right on target.

But then I thought that Snoopy was flirting with the NOI much the same way he flirted with the Rasses.. What next Scientologist or the republican party ?????? it is the mans journey so his choices.....But tahing California weed to Jamaica ???? salt to the sea ???
