I have commited no crime, why do the police need my fingerprints? I jus feel like I'm giving up some of my freedoms, and for what? I would rather just let my license expire. And why now, after more than twenty years of never needing my fingerprints in the past?

the fingerprints are required to verify that you have not committed a crime.

Highly unlikely. I did it for 2 summers while attending unversity. I didn't have that many flights to the USA. Only Europe, Canada, Caribbean, New York, and Chicago.
