I think she lives in Chechnya (the Chechin Republic)... or maybe in Kishinev.
(I mention Kishinev because it's here my father's mother came from. She and two of her sisters (3 out of 10 siblings) survived the Great Pogrom there and managed to stow away on a ship to Philadelphia. That's how my paternal grandmother - and my two great-aunts on Dad's side - emigrated here in 1903. Every time somewhere was too far away to bother to go to, the saying in my family was, "I'm not going all the way to Kishinev and back for <whatever>! Forget it!" or < "That's way the hell out in Kishinev, for God's sake! I'm not going there!")
