they had passed a low some time ago allowing the introduction of statement as evidence in cases where the witness could not be found or was dead. In this case the Judge sey the prosecution has not tired hard enough to locate the witness so him not willing to allow the statement as evidence.


this is standard fare in murder cases in jamaica( in cases where the defendant can afford good lawyer - is only poor man get convicted down deh) ...we will probably see the same thing when Mr Powell case come to trial. Ninja walk on this kinda ting already.
