Oneof the photos reminds me of when my son was little (under 5), we visited his grandfather in the country. There was a boy around his age. He climbed a tree and threw some oranges I think to another boy who was a bit older. Then the boys got sticks.

They showed him how to play cricket. The boys kept saying "bowl mi noh".

He figured it out but he did say to me "Is Donald speaking patois because I don't understand him when he speaks to me." My fault as I FREAKED when my ex spoke to him in patois. Figured he could learn it later and I didn't want him all messed up with the language thing when he went to school. I have seen that happen to many other children...but that is a whole other topic.

I saved one of these for Alex. Found it at Carby's in Twin Gates Plaza. Is hit or miss when you go there though.

I don't know any of those kites. If my Dad was still with us he could help as he made kites even after coming to Canada. I don't recall any razor blades but the kites were huge....the size of a person and the tails were VERY long.
