Al Roker oversleeps, misses his early morning TV show 'Wake Up with Al'
The veteran weatherman made light of his sleepy situation by posting a yawning Vine video and asking viewers to send in their oversleeping stories.
We've all hit the snooze button one too many times, or perhaps forgot to set the alarm all together — but most of us don't have to worry about sleeping through our jobs on live television.
After 39 years, it happened. I overslept and missed a show. Missed #WUWA. But will be on time for @today

Roker, 58, made it in time to his next job, as the resident weather expert — and often times comedic relief — on the "Today" show. He even made light of the situation by posting a yawning Vine video.
"Morning, Sleepyhead," he wrote, posting the video to his Twitter page. "So tell me your oversleeping story."
