There is a glaring disparity in the two major camp.

Glen Mills cannot train women and middle distance runners to medal in major events and Stephen Francis outside of Nesta Carter and Asafa Powell cannot train men to medal.
Nesta was only successful so far in the relays and at 60m indoors, till Sunday.
I think these Camps need a little stirring.
Blessing would be a huge Blessing because she have the tools.

I was backing Blessing....as unno all know... shi have the tools and shi can be a Bolt, I saw her run in London and thought she could get back after a slow start. Shi need coaching. Shelly ann blew that away comprhensively... Dat Pocket Rocket....third world champion... both readings is impressive!

But wi haffi gi Ahouri props as well first African ooman fi win a international sprint medal....

MOSCOW, Russia (AFP) — Christophe Lemaitre, who finished seventh in the men's 100m final, has suffered a hamstring tear and will likely miss the rest of the World Athletics Championships, the French athletics federation said.
"We can't say if he's officially out, but he's got a five centimetre (two-inch) tear, he's seriously injured, and we can't really see how it can line up for the 200m and the 4x100m relay," French athletics federation head Bernard Amsalem told AFP late Sunday.


The two-time European champion over 100m, who timed 10.06sec in finishing seventh in Sunday's race won by Jamaican star Usain Bolt, was scheduled to undergo a scan yesterday to further evaluate the injury.
According to the sprinter's camp, Lemaitre did not injure himself during the rain-hit 100m final itself, but by slipping after coming through the finish line.
Should Lemaitre be ruled out, it would be a massive blow for French medal hopes in the 200m, a discipline in which the sprinter won silver in the Daegu Worlds two years ago.

Blessing is getting bad advice and she soon pap dung like Caster Semenya.
No Jamaican Athlete male or female would be allowed to run and jump in the same meet, unless their doing decathlon or other mulch-discipline event.
She needs to find another country and/or trainer/adviser fast.

I tried to find out where she is based but cant find anything...Except she is engaged to a Super Eagle who played for a club in Jerusalem!

Her performance in london demonstrated that she is better than the result here... And if she had run her best it would have pushed Shelly Ann, I think that performace from Shelly Ann was superb........And I am not being facetious Blessing should go to Jamaica to train...And wghat surprised me was before the season started Nigerians hadnt heard of her.. despite her bronze in the long jump in Beijing...But they compalined about lack of medals in London...

Imagine Nigeria with a "brand" Jamaica... that is a marketing poweer house!

Now I am looking forward to the 200 m... from the Rocket...

Men are different and the spacing of the events is important. Sprint first the jump or jump at the start of the meet and sprint at the end.
Then there is the on going conversation with your athlete if you are an Agent or Trainer. How did the athlete recover after the first event? She lost the gold jump by 1 centimeter, that must have some psychological effect on her.
They could have easily pulled her out of the 100 and saved her for the 200.

.........but who knows maybe the strategy is to use the 100m Finals as a heat to tune her for the 200?
