KINGSTON, Jamaica -- Gunmen this morning pulled off a daring robbery at the Kingston and St Andrew Corporation (KSAC) office on Church Street, downtown Kingston.
Police report that a staff member had just left the office with approximately $3 million to make a deposit when two gunmen approached on a bike and one of them grabbed the bag containing the cash from the employee.
An armed security guard challenged the gunmen, however after a brief exchange of gun fire the robbers managed to escape. The area has been cordoned off and police investigators are now searching for clues.
The KSAC employee was unharmed.
