High drama hit a St Catherine community last week after a man, not satisfied with the short time he took after buying sex from a hooker, went for a gun but was shot dead when he was accosted by the police.
The drama reached fever pitch when it was discovered that the man, at the time of being shot, had an erect penis and was wearing a condom.
"Yes, the post-mortem was completed, and the man was still wearing his condom," a policeman close to the investigation told THE STAR.
Residents said the incident unfolded when the deceased, Ronald Gayle, 22, from Spanish Town, bought sex from a girl at a club in the area but did not last long during the act. Infuriated, residents said Gayle went back to the hooker and demanded more sex and began touching and making advances towards her.
It is understood that Gayle got turned on and even put on a condom, believing he was going to get a second chance. The hooker, however, refused his advances and walked away. This angered Gayle, who pulled up his pants, and ran with his erect penis to his nearby residence for a gun.
"Yeah man ... him never satisfy, so him go fi him gun fi defend more," a resident confirmed.
But, just as Gayle was running back to where the hooker was, he was accosted by the police. He reportedly challenged the lawmen and was shot and killed, and a 9mm semi-automatic pistol taken from him.
The police were at first surprised as to why Gayle was wearing a condom but was later told the reason. "We heard that he went for his gun to defend more sex for his money," an investigator told The Star.
